Ooooooooh Gellato! ヾ(＠^∇^＠)ノ MINIONS!
As far as animated movies go the visual is funny and colorful. Eye catching and really vivid. Though, probably nothing to comment since the last movie but hey I still like the minions ! ψ(｀∇´)ψ
Underwear~~~ hey if the minions starts to sing (though, I don’t understand a thing they said ( -_-)旦~), you will sing-a-long and remember it! (〃⌒▽⌒)八(〃⌒▽⌒〃)八(⌒▽⌒〃). The BGM for the fight scenes and of course the lovey dovey scenes are really a match.
“Lipstick taser!” Yep! Memorable lines~ Of course, there’s those funny moment with Agnes and some awkward moments with Lucy bordering corny but still funny. Nice job!
The plot or story of the whole movie is somewhat too shallow but for their target audience, the children, it might still be enjoyable. (I enjoyed it, even as against other reviews~) There really isn’t something of a deep meaning behind the story and it feels like they just want to finish off the sequel. Nevertheless, there’s still the comedy and evil jellies ftw! (⌒▽⌒〃)
As far as the whole movie goes, there really isn’t too much of an improvement with the characters. Gru (Steve Carell) still follows through with his role as the guardian of the three children. Margo still is the smart one but is not really seen as such here but you might see her as undergoing adolescent. Edith might still be as hyper as before but with too little scene. Agnes, of course the beloved among all characters (except for the minions), is still curious and outgoing but with a big BIG HEART! Unfortunately for Agnes fans, she doesn’t seem to have to much of a screen time. MINIONS are still minions! So, the three children are mostly for the supporting roles here. ‘Coz there comes Lucy who might you call Gru’s leading lady, she’s funny and dangerous as hell. And, the villain, El Macho … though to be honest he seems a little bit on the sidelines too.
Steve Carrell (Gru) still retains his very very funny accent and the personality is conveyed through his voice. Kristen Wiig (Lucy) did well in portraying the very bipolar personality of Lucy (love the way she speaks especially when fighting “Lipstick Taser!!!!!!!). Russel Brand (Dr. Nefario) is quite the old man here, he really did well. Elsie Fisher (Agnes) did a really really really excellent job! So far all are good and did well conveying the personalities of their characters through the voice.
A happily-ever-after! Children rejoice! Well, with the minions at the ending, who wouldn’t love that? (⌒▽⌒〃)
Alright, against all bad/worst reviews/comments for this movie. I might still say I enjoyed it with my two bestest friends ever. We might not be that young as the target audience of this specific movie, but hey we can always be childlike and know how to appreciate an animated movie for younger people. This isn’t that bad but it could’ve been better if the plot might’ve improved a bit; but it could’ve been worse. So let’s take it at the minion’s singing value then~
